Bikini Recipe
Makes enough for 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Drink (produces 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (see above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
To prepare the Syrup: Put the listed items inside a pan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, mixing to dissolve. Next, turn off the heat and leave to cool down completely. Pour into an clean bottle, cap it and store in the fridge, it will last for up to a month.
For the Cocktail Base: Mix the specified liquid ingredients into a large bottle, allow it to infuse for one hour, then strain best through cheesecloth, making it completely strained.
For serving: Add 85ml from the batch mix to a stirring glass packed with ice, and stir gently for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Filter into an frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, garnish with the cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz of the essential oil above the glass.
